Walkabout 2002 – Get Busy Living or Get Busy Dying

You Want Me To Do What?!!?Here’s the walkabout update!  I’ll be leaving Sandi & Chris’s house today and heading over to see Ken and Tra. I’m not sure whether they have an internet connection at home or not and I know that Dragonfly House (which will have been purchased that morning) will not have one. Then I’m on to Tracy’s house on the Cape and, again, I have no idea if I’ll have internet access there, so this may be the last entry you see from me on this spiritual journey until Sunday/Monday time frame.

Tried to see one of the cool movies out yesterday, but I missed the start of all of them, so I ended up watching a Disney flick called Tuck Everlasting. Theme of the movie: family finds spring that gives eternal life, 90 years later, son falls in love with girl and tries to talk her into drinking from the spring, father talks her out of it by saying “you should not be afraid of dying, but instead be afraid of the life not fully lived”. I got in the car and the song on the radio was on the same theme.

Normally, I would consider this a sign that I wasn’t looking at something, but I really feel like I have made this a priority in my life thus far (at least for the last few years). So, I’m looking at where I’m not actively engaging life at the moment. My gut says it may be on the romantic side of life, but I’m still looking into it.  (Update 2013:  This statement will be really funny in two days time.  Yes, I am psychic ;-))

I also got some work done on my books. It’s slow going, but I’m getting there. Anyway, that’s it for my day. I’ll catch up with you as soon as I can.  (Update 2013 – Did you want to see what is in this book I’ve been working on?  It’s here.)
