Walkabout 2002 – Money and a New Home

The job is still going well. One of my recruits has put a house under contract, so I should see my first commission in mid May – yay! Earlier than expected.

Also, I met with Larry (Josie’s friend) and the place is cool, he and I get along and have the whole shaman thing in common, and he’s lowered the price to a point where I can afford the rent AND be able to afford health insurance too. Yay!! (It has central air too, which I asked the universe for since I hate the heat.) Woo hoo!! No more 45 minute commute soon!

I get paid for the first time today and I’ll be looking at a move-in date as soon as I figure out what my net checks will be. Won’t be until May 1 at the earliest, but that’s still very cool. It will be nice to have some cash again and begin to pay off all the debts I owe to my friends. As soon as I get on my feet, the cash starts going out to catch up.

It’s so good to have my life back on track again. I’ll write more later about how I’m combining my life coaching skills with my new job. It’s really good.
