Walkabout 2002 – New Job, Projects, and Living Quarters?

Sorry I haven’t written in a while, but I’ve been really busy trying to get settled into the new job and get used to the hour and a half commute. Add to this the painting of the house (see pics below) and the party prep and there’s been very little time to write. I’m trying to just keep up with the reading and even that isn’t going well. So bear with me as I put the majority of my energy into creating my new life.

I got an email from Josie yesterday that had an ad from a friend of hers who is renting out his in-law apartment. It is 5 minutes from work and has a fireplace and is close to what I can afford. He is into shamanic studies and is looking for someone with similar interests. It’s very cool. I am meeting him on Tuesday next week to look at the place. It’s looking good. My only concern is how I will be able to fill the place. I have no furniture these days and the commission checks haven’t begun yet. Looks like St. Vincent DePaul’s will be my friend again. Patience has never been my strong suit.

The job is going really well. I have five new recruits. Not bad for a little over a week into things. That’s 20% of my annual goal already done. Woo Hoo – I rock. I’m starting to do coaching with all my new agents as well as with some of the existing agents here who want to increase their business. It’s the life coaching job I’ve wanted for the last few years. Very cool. So that’s what’s up with me. Just in case you were wondering.
