Seems I was not meant to get to sleep in today, my only day off from work this week. Two of my friends, both of whom I thought would know better about me by now, called before 8:30am. The first one I managed to ignore, the second, coming so close on the heels of the first made me think that someone really needed to speak to me, so I rolled my sorry ass out of bed. Alas, I could have slept in. But it was good to talk to Ken anyway. 😉
I am working on getting everything settled so that when my job starts next week I am ready to take off at mach speed. Hence, I am a little strung out this week. I’m working a bunch of extra hours at Tony’s to try to get him ready to have Sam take over the position. I am also trying to get my schedule set for classes at Amethyst Moon (since the last one I offered actually ran). I am also filling out an application for New Hope to do overnight shifts at the women’s shelter. I’ve got to have some extra income to bring up my salary until the commissions start coming in. So, that’s the current plan for work. Add to this my personal stuff: planning the Mage game, moving all my shit from Sam’s to Daniel’s, running the Reiki class this weekend, painting Daniel’s living room, helping Sam with her house renovations, and my other miscellaneous commitments and I’m flat out. I’m lucky to find time to think.
Today, on my day off, I’m hoping to get a bunch of work-related stuff done too. I’m beginning to rethink the wisdom of this desire. Perhaps taking the day off to deal with personal stuff would be more intelligent. I have no idea when I would catch up though, so probably not. It will all be better by the end of next week though, so I just have to hang in there and not kill anyone with my random attacks of frustration.
