I had this dream this morning… I remember being at some sort of carnival and walking by a demonstration of hypnosis with the guy making the girl “stiff as a board” and then leaning her up against things. He leaned her against me as I walked by and suddenly was doing things energetically to her around me. I shielded quickly so that I wouldn’t be affected by it. The woman turned into a man and he let the person go limp again, leaving him draped across my shoulders. The man got up, introduced himself as Shashawn. He had beautiful piercing blue eyes with a mischievous twinkle in them. I was instantly attracted and yet felt the need to run away at the same time. I smiled, said hi, turned and left. I went to leave at the front entrance to the carnival and found that I had to go out of a very small space that I had to hike myself up on a fence to get to. I remembered coming into that space when I came into the carnival and I thought about how that really restricted access to the event. And then looked around at all the people who were there anyway. Odd. Then I woke up.
Now that I write it out, I can see how it could be interpreted in conjunction with the pregnancy dream. The small hole I’m forced to squeeze through being the entrance to the womb. The carnival representing the chaos of the energies coming together for the manifestation. The woman/man draped over me representing the integration of those two forces of myself, but not yet integrated within me. The hypnosis factor being the representation of the fact that it is my unconscious mind doing the work on this. The pressure of holding up their weight being the pressure I’m feeling around waiting for this process to be complete and being impatient to be done. The attractiveness of the man representing the attractiveness of the new life but the fear of it being ever-present. It all makes sense. Not that it helps really, but it’s interesting…
