Walkabout 2002 – Journey Includes Mundaneness

Part of this journey includes mundanities, and I’m getting all of the stuff I didn’t do earlier done today. Putting off doing laundry until the last minute because I wanted a chance of getting my clothes out of the house before they got soaked through with smoke again is on my plate. Plus putting up a clock, changing out the filter on the heating system, installing caps and a cover over the exposed wiring the builder left on the wall for the extra garage door opener in case Mom ever decides to put one in. Oh, yes, and I have to figure out how to switch the VCR to channel 4.

Once those tasks are complete, I am on the road to Detroit and Gray who is awaiting my arrival sometime this evening. Not much else to say that you haven’t heard already, so I’ll leave it at that.

* This is part of an ongoing series of posts detailing what happened on a spiritual pilgrimage that I took in 2002. To start from the beginning, go to July 2, 2013. To see the entire spiritual journey as it gets published, click on the category “You Want Me To Do WHAT?!!?” to see all of the posts.
