Walkabout 2002 – Finding Common Ground

I’m heading out for my mother’s in Wisconsin tomorrow. This will be the first time I have seen her in four years. (The last time being the ill-fated trip to Europe in which we had our big blow-out.) I am looking forward to seeing her new house. I am uncertain about seeing her personally because of the last time we were together. Hence the reason for the short duration of my stay.

It is close to Christmas and I am hoping that we can find common ground in watching holiday shows and baking cookies or something. We’ll see. Wish me luck.
