Well, I called Molly and got some advice from her on publishing this booklet. In short, she suggested that I self-publish. So I am actively doing my research on that task now. I bought a book on self publishing as well as taking down several publisher’s information for major new age/spiritual publishers on the off chance I can get them to do the first one for me while I have very little cash and stability. I’ll be writing my drafts of my letters to them shortly.
The thing that is disturbing me the most is my reticence to market it. It’s just like the book I wrote on real estate. I spent two years honing it and then just let it drop. I thought it was because I got out of the business and wasn’t interested anymore, but I’m certainly still interested in this subject, so what’s the deal? It seems I have a big issue with promoting myself. Like I’m afraid of being labelled narcissistic (which has happened more than once in this journal) or self-indulgent. Damn! This is so frustrating.
On the flip side, I’m taking the night off from doing work with anyone here. As much as I enjoy it, I need a break from the constant questioning and pulling on my energy. I decided to stay home while the guys go to a concert. Ah, sweet peace.
