Well, it’s official, I’m heading out tomorrow morning to visit Melissa in NC. I’ll be leaving at about 9am and I expect to hit town by around 6pm. I’ll probably end up heading back down this way at some point to check in with Chris since I’m going to be missing him on this round. Plus, I still need to make that stop at Rook’s Nest Refuge in LA. I’ve done a little more research on the owner and found out that she is a Tibetan Buddhist, which should make for really interesting conversation. That makes two buddhists who have crossed my path (the other being Jhampa at Heartsong). Must be something there.
Anyway, I have started work on the pamphlets I will call books for now. I got through the introduction and two chapters today (which amounts to a total of 8 pages). I’m finding that my fingers are not happy with the high humidity here. What was once just my left index finger being a little stiff, has turned into both my hands being painful after a day of typing and writing. I’m hoping it’s just the weather and not an early onset of arthritis (which is not common in my family). Either way, I need to look at where I’m being inflexible in my thinking that would relate to my hands. Hmmm. Food for thought.
Well, I’m heading off to bed. so I’ll check in again when I get to NC.
