I’m overstaying my welcome here in Orlando with my friends. I kind of popped in on them unannounced and I’ve been here for 5 days. I’ll be leaving by Tuesday morning at the latest and I have to decide where to go from here. If Chris doesn’t get home in time, I think I’m heading to New Orleans for the Rooks Nest Refuge. From there, who knows.
My friend Caroline has pointed out that she has always seen me writing books and then doing teaching work from them at various places. I have thought about writing things in the past, but I really had problems getting started. She pointed out that I could do some of those short 10 ways to happiness books or something to get me started. I could certainly manage that. I’m going to sit down tomorrow and see what I can hash out. It would give me something to do in my downtime on the road and it may help me to clarify some of my stuff otherwise.
I’m not sure how I’m going to manage this weight-loss thing. I’m going to have to take a different perspective on it. I’m really having problems keeping healthy food available here and they’re pretty healthy people. It’ll be a challenge if I continue to pursue it from a purely physical perspective.
Traded readings with Caroline and she seems to think that I am working on a new philosophical concept that I am still unconsciously birthing. I don’t know. I know my brain seems to be working differently than in the past, but other than that, I’ve got no great insight. (Update 2013 – This was the beginning of the Thought Alchemy work that I do. This shift in the way I think WAS the unconscious philosophical concept she was talking about.) The discussion Keter (Kathy) had about the base units of energy in the universe being unconditional love gave me a lot to ruminate over, but no real changes in attitude there yet. It’s a conversation I would like to have at some point though, when I can really flesh it out and question her about her intentions and ideas about it. It’s given me room to think though.
There’s no telling where things go from here (as usual). But for now, it’s off to Chinese food – yum!
