Well, we’re here in Orlando trying to figure out what to do for the day. Being that Florida is currently experiencing an Indian Summer, it is really too hot to consider anything outside. So I think we’ve decided to catch a matinee and then head home for some board games around the dining room table. Nice, low-key fun.
Caroline and I have been doing some good catching up (haven’t seen her in about 4 years). I’m hoping to trade readings with her before I leave. She’s one of the people in the spiritual community whom I respect the most. She has always had good insights into my life for me when I needed them. It’s nice to have someone who knows you well because they’ve known you forever, but who has distance from the current situation. She’s been that person for me. I’ve been getting a lot of perspective on some of my experiences from her. Yay, perspective! Anyway, I’m going to bring in my altar boxes and share the treasures that I’ve collected with her. Plus, I want to show her the jewelry that I’ve been making. Should be good fun.
A side note is that I’ve been sleeping really poorly for the last couple of days. I woke up with my shoulders completely cramped yesterday and they’re still sore today. Then last night I went to bed at 11pm and got up at 8am this morning feeling completely unrested even though I felt like a slept well. I must be doing a lot of work in my sleep or something. I’m going to ask for the night off from my guides tonight. I really need some rest.
Well, that’s about it for today. No major philosophical ideas, just some good old fashioned down time.
