Well it’s raining, so it seems that our plans to go sailing have been quashed. Not a bad thing really, it’s nice to take a lazy day to just hang around and not go anywhere. It’s after 1pm and I haven’t even taken my shower yet. This is truly a day off.
I’m looking forward in time to where I’m headed and it looks like a long, action-packed journey. I’m going to enjoy my down-time while I can. I’m getting emails from people telling me about the changes taking place in their lives and it seems like there is a lot of change going around. All of it looks to be good.
The biggest challenge that I’m finding for myself is to consciously choose to break old bad habits. I see some of the stuff coming up daily that is all stuff I would have chosen to do in the past, and which still looks to be appealing on a certain level, but I know will be bad for me. Choosing to do something different is always the hard part. But as they say, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results, so I have to change something.
I’ve been looking at my physical health recently as well. I’ve gained about 50lbs in the last four years and I was about 20lbs overweight before that. It’s starting to get ridiculous. Plus, I think it’s finally time to let it go. I’ve also started dealing with some herbal and homeopathic remedies for my acid reflux. I think changing my diet will help with that too. (2013 Update – Changing my diet did help – but I didn’t figure out what needed to change until a client who is an herbalist pointed out to me that I was allergic to gluten. Dropping that out of my diet not only got rid of the acid reflux, it also eliminated my migraines, reduced the swelling in my body and allowed my muscles to stretch again.) If I’m going to get on track emotionally and spiritually, I can only think that doing it physically as well is required. So, I’m cutting out desserts, and cutting back on fried foods, etc. We’ll see where I am in a few months.
Not much to talk about today. Perhaps I’ll have more tomorrow after my dinner with Andrew tonight. – Kelle
